I'm in the Haymarket attempting to tackle an ocean of homework. I rode down with Michael for Ivanna Cone adventures with he and the lesbies (I ate Chipotle while they chowed down on delightful looking breakfast cones). My plan to was to study in Crescent Moon until Chelsi comes to pick me up tonight at curfew.
Crescent Moon fail. Apparently they have better things to do today (like get their lovey dovey Valentine on) than run a coffee shop, so I resorted to The Mill two doors down. As I was looking for pictures of nature to inspire me, a woman walked by the table I'm working on.
"Happy Valentines Day," she said with a smile. I looked up. In her hand was a custom-made valentine card in the guise of a sliding paper heart. She handed it to me, then continued walking. Just another day in the life of a kind stranger.
It totally made my day :-) This simple act showcasing the beauty of humanity far surpasses pictures of idyllic locations.
